Café 66 Afton Farmers Market
Brief Description
The University of Oklahoma partnered up with the city of Afton, Oklahoma to create a community outreach project. This project was to provide design solutions for their food desert situation and creating a farmers market at an existing building located at 121 South Main Street, Afton, OK 74331.
This was a group project during the Fall of 2020. My design partners were fellow third-year interior design students, Olivia Aasheim, Paxton Little, Savannah Pollock, and Lisa Rutledge.
Below you can find a few renderings from the project.

Design Concept
Afton, Oklahoma is characterized by a tight-knit and engaging community. The rich history associated with Route 66 and the location within the Cherokee Nation provides a foundation and connection for the town. Contrasting colors, textures, and patterns found in the materials and color scheme are reflective of this unique background and will be used to create a unifying space for all who may occupy it.
